Welcome to The Total Gymnastics Beth Tweddle Academy in Merseyside!

Cheshire is the latest addition to the Total Gymnastics family, with our first venue in The Queen's School, City Walls Road, CH1 2NN.

Our academies provide focused, quality gymnastics sessions with a clear development pathway, available for children and adults in areas of North & South Liverpool and the Wirral.

With Olympic medallist and Dancing on Ice Champion, Beth Tweddle MBE behind everything we deliver, our academy programme has been formulated to develop fundamental movement skills in people of ages 2 - 11, regardless of their starting ability.

Our academies use two programmes – Gym Stars which is our own in house awards scheme which is primarily for our beginners gymnasts. The programme allows the children to learn the basic fundamental movements of gymnastics such as forward rolls, cartwheels and basic vaulting and bench work working alongside an exciting rewards scheme. We also use the British Gymnastics Proficiency and Advanced Awards Schemes in our higher level academies for those gymnasts who have completed the beginners programme, or who have shown potential at a young age.

ABILITY FOCUSSED: We have a clear development pathway for our gymnasts to progress through during their time with us.

QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED STAFF: All our staff are fully CRB checked and qualified through British Gymnastics, or through the Gym Stars training endorsed by Skills Active UK.

PROGRESS AND REPORTING: Every term our gymnasts work towards their badges awards and on average receive one per term. These are handed out at an awards night at the end of each term in the academies where parents are invited to come and take photos. Our gymnast’s progression is monitored on a continual, week by week basis, with an individual written report from their coach 2 weeks prior to the end of the course, which is uploaded onto your online account!

OLYMPIC STANDARD: Total Gymnastics is run by Olympic Medallist Beth Tweddle MBE who has designed the programme to give every person an opportunity to blossom and enjoy learning to do gymnastics.
