We are Getting Excited for the World Gymnastics Championships

Here at Beth Tweddle Gymnastics, we are getting excited for the World Gymnastics this week.

Our British teams have travelled to Doha to compete with the best across the globe. There’s a lot on the line as the competition will be our guys’ first real test on their path to Tokyo 2020.

The Great British team boasts some very strong gymnasts this year, with medallists such as Double Olympic Champion Max Whitlock, Commonwealth Games Silver Medallists Alice Kinsella, Georgia-Mae Fenton and Kelly Simm, along with the return of 2017 European all-around Champion Ellie Downie.

Our very own Beth Tweddle will be covering the action for the BBC and here are our top picks of what not to miss:

  • Can our girls continue their success after their Commonwealth Games silver?

Women’s team finals – Tuesday 30th October

  • Beth’s favourite!

Women’s uneven bars final – Friday 2nd November

  • Will Max retain his title?

Men’s Pommel house final – Friday 2nd November

Best of luck guys!
