We’ve been dotting the i’s with afPE

Every year, we look forward to joining our partners at afPE (Association for Physical Education) for their National Conference.

As the only gymnastics provider endorsed by afPE, we’re proud to support their purpose to promote and maintain high standards and safe practice at all levels of physical education, school sport and physical activity influencing developments at national and local levels that will impact on pupils’ physical health and emotional well-being.

So, why were we “dotting i’s”?

This year, their conference focussed on Intent, Implementation and Impact; all key components to providing a cohesive, progressive and purposeful offering to schools.

Joining the keynote speakers on the day which included, Jacqui Oatley MBE, Nick Saunders, Gemma Oaten, Jaz Ampaw-Farr and Adrian Bethune, our National Curriculum Accounts Manager Jeff Hynds said:
“Having attended the event for the fourth year running, I was once again impressed by the conference! The guest speakers were all brilliant and the workshops were very relevant to considering PE within the current landscape as well as led by interesting and fun individuals. A fun friendly, worthwhile event inspiring all who attended.”

A big thank you to afPE for organising the event and supporting us as we continue to provide opportunities for all children to get involved in gymnastics.
