Anti-Bullying Week

For this year’s Anti-Bullying Week, the theme is ‘Choose Respect’.

The organisers of the event, Anti-Bullying Alliance, chose this theme after speaking to over 800 children, teachers and members of their foundation.

On their website, they state that from these discussions, it became clear that “a top priority was to show that bullying is a behaviour choice, and that children and young people can set a positive example by opting to respect each other at school, in their homes and communities, and online.”

Respect is something that we believe is very important at Beth Tweddle Gymnastics. To ensure that we are able to provide a supportive environment for our gymnasts to learn in, we understand that there needs to be a shared respect between our coaches, gymnasts, parents and the wider team.

Our lessons are so much more than teaching new skills, they’re somewhere for children to make new friends and support each other – that’s what makes our gymnastics journey the best in the industry.
