Two of our Gymnasts speak to Commonwealth Games Medallists on BBC Radio 5 Live

Two lucky gymnasts had the opportunity to go down to MediaCity to talk to BBC Radio 5 Live about their passion for gymnastics, and the benefits of being involved in sport.

Our mission is to create opportunities for all children to get involved in gymnastics, and who better to help us do this than the amazing gymnasts on our programme?

It’s important to us that we help people to understand just how beneficial gymnastics is, and how it’s more than just a sport. We've seen such a positive impact on the lives of the children that attend our classes, and to see them passionate about the sport is exactly why we do what we do.

Natasha and Isabel were also able to interview two gymnasts from the Commonwealth Games England Gymnastics Team, and asked them a series of questions on their experience in gymnastics and their time on the Gold Coast.

Georgia-May Fenton who got individual gold on bars, and Alice Kinsella who got individual gold on beam, spoke to both young girls on BBC Radio 5 Live on the morning of 10th April.

A fun morning all around - even if it was 6.45am!

We gave an update on the Gymnastics success at the Commonwealth Games - make sure you check it out if you missed any of the action.
