Get to know Beth

We asked some of our lovely gymnasts what they wanted to know about Beth. Here's what she had to say:
 

Name: Beth Tweddle

Height: 160cm

When/why did you start gymnastics? I first started gymnastics at the age of 7 because I had too much energy. I tried many other sports including ballet, horse riding, swimming and hockey but gymnastics was the one I enjoyed the most

Favourite place you have competed? I have been lucky enough to travel the whole world so I'm not sure I can choose one place. I loved Australia but it was really far to travel there and I suffered with Jet lag

Any brothers or sisters? 1 older brother called James who used to play Hockey for England U21's

Favourite programme on TV? Bones

Favourite game? I like playing cards

Favourite sport to do except gymnastics? Ice-skating

Favourite sport to watch except gymnastics? I love watching all different sport, I don't think I can choose just one

Best friend(s)? Emma, Suzanne and Mel 

Favourite band/artist? Emilie Sande 

Who were your role models growing up? Paula Radcliffe and Kelly Holmes

Favourite treat? Krispy Kreme, Strawberries and Kreme flavour

Favourite fruit? Raspberries

Favourite animal? I loved badgers as a child

Favourite colour? Baby blue but it depends what day it is
