Deanna started her gymnastics career at the age of 7. She went straight into a recreational squad at JAX gymnastics club and stayed training there for around 6 years. She was a Regional champion at many levels within the Regional GFA competitions.

Deanna started coaching at the age of 13 within general gymnastics, once she was 17 she began to teach pre school as well as general gymnastics. Her main specialty is training GFA regional competition gymnasts, however training recreational gymnasts is very enjoyable.

She has since taken a new role within the past year as a mentor for coaches, age 14 plus and can train coaches in proficiency, level 1 and level 2 gymnastics.

Deanna is currently working as a full time gymnastics coach, whilst taking a gap year from university.  When she returns to university she will be studying health science through the open university with an aim to learn more around the human anatomy and further her knowledge.
