Total Fitness Wigan is located in Greater Manchester and has some of the best facilities in the local area.
It is one of our Beth Tweddle Gym Stars Academies and the classes cater for children aged 2-7 years. The club is located Warrington Rd, Wigan WN3 6XD. There is a club café located downstairs from which you can purchase hot drinks and snacks and access their free Wifi.
Guardians must stay at the venue for the duration of the class but are not permitted inside the studio. Guardians need to be available to complete toilet trips should they be required upon the request of the coach.

Wednesday: 4.15pm - 5.15pm - Bright Stars (Children aged 4-5 should begin in this class)
Wednesday: 5:15pm - 6:15pm - Shooting Stars (Children aged 6-7 should begin in this class)
Saturday: 9am - 10am - Twinkle Stars - (This is a parent and child class. Children aged 2-3 should begin in this class)
Saturday: 10.15am-11.15am - Bright Stars (Children aged 4-5 should begin in this class)
Saturday: 11.30am-12.30pm - Shooting Stars (Children aged 6-7 should begin in this class)

Equipment
This venue has a number of benches, Floor mats, Springboards, Vault and various hand held equipment to help with the children’s co-ordination.
Session details
Gym Stars: The children will be working through our Gym Stars programme using our bespoke Beth Tweddle gym stars award system. We aim for them to achieve one award per 10 weeks with their progress being monitored and recorded regularly within their progress booklets.
First session
Parents can stay for the first session should they wish to do so, however after the first session they will not be permitted to stay as the coaches will require the gymnasts full attention at all times during the session.
Clothing/Jewellery
Gymnasts are required to wear a t-shirt and shorts/tracksuit bottoms or leggings. No bare midriffs. Long hair needs to be tied up and no jewellery is allowed. Earrings must be removed and if this is not possible they must be taped up. They must also bring a drink to their classes. They will train in their bare feet
Progress booklet
They must also bring along their progress booklet as this is where the coaches will record all progress and mark off what skills have been achieved. If a gymnast loses their progress booklet, a new one must be purchased at a cost of £3.50 so please ensure that they are kept safe.
What to do when you arrive
Please arrive about 5 - 10 minutes prior to the start of your session. As you enter the leisure complex if you are a Total Fitness member scan your card and enter through the turnstiles. If you are not a member please signal to the receptionist you are a member of Total Gymnastics and they will allow you access. You can come up to the studio ten minutes prior to your class beginning - once the previous class has departed you will be invited into the studio. This is to ensure the safe arrival and departure of all of our gymnasts.
