A member of the TGA family meets Amy Tinkler!

 This morning one of our most promising gymnasts, Ciara Smith got to meet her hero, Amy Tinkler!

Ciara was on the BBC show Newsround discussing why she loved gymnastics and how the Olympics has inspired her to train extra hard for the sport she loved.

Little did Ciara know that Amy was there to meet her, and when she walked onto the Newsround set Ciara was over the moon.

Her gymnastics teacher and academy manager has said, “If anyone knows Ciara they will know that she is permanently upside down and is obsessed with gymnastics.

She never missed a gymnastics session and her love for the sport is obvious, so it was great she got to meet one of her heroes.”
