Active Ashfield Games
Well done to Beth Tweddle Gymnastics (formerly Total Gymnastics) Festival Hall & Lammas gymnasts who took part in the Active Ashfield Games Gymnastics Competition on 30th June 2012. This is both a team & individual competition provided by Ashfield District Council & supported by the local gymnastics club who provide all the volunteers for the day.
The gymnasts were Mia Paris, Lily-Bo & Eleanor Kirkby Team (all three from Festival Hall) Alexander (Lammas)& Charlize (Festival Hall)Sutton Team
Sutton Team finished 1st with Kirkby team finishing a very close second Hucknall team were 3rd
Individual Medals went to
8yrs 2nd place Eleanor
9yrs 1st place Alexander
Also a big well done to Ellis Malson who finished 1st in the 10yrs section. Ellis started gymnastics with Beth Tweddle Gymnastics (formerly Total Gymnastics) at the Festival Hall & transferred to the Development Squad at Ashfield Gymnastics Club in April& has been making steady progress since.
All five enjoyed their day and their first competition.
