Beth: “We have sport in our blood in Liverpool”

As Liverpool are set to bid for the 2022 World Gymnastics Championships, our very own former World Champion and Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist Beth Tweddle, shows her support.

In the BBC News article, the council confirm the news, saying the event would bring more than 700 gymnasts from about 80 nations to the city's Echo Arena complex on the waterfront.
When asked how she would feel if Liverpool won the bid, Beth said, "It fills me with a huge amount of excitement and great pride".

The federation is expected to announce the winning bid in May 2018 – Good luck, Liverpool!
