Beth attends Sports Personality of the Year
Beth attended the Sports Personality of the Year awards and gave her thoughts on the star-studded evening.
“I was delighted to be invited and still hold fond memories after my third place finish in 2006.
After a fantastic 2016 for gymnastics it felt that Sports Personality of the Year is a great way to round off the year in style, and it was quite right that Max Whitlock was one of the judges nominees for the big prize.
Huge congratulations to Max who finished 7th on the evening. Beating superstars such as Gareth Bale shows just how much the public have taken to gymnastics this year, which is great to see.
Overall it was a brilliant night to celebrate a stellar year for British sport.”
