Dancing on Ice started again on Sunday 6th January 2013, 6.15pm on ITV with our very own Beth Tweddle competing. Beth showed an amazing routine with her professional skating partner, double DOI champion Dan Whiston from Blackpool to Anything can happen by Ellie Goulding. She even showcased her own lift called the "Tweddle tip" which involved her standing upside down on Dan's leg, leaning over into splits! She received some excellent comments from the judges; Karen Barber said she was "excited to see her progress" in future shows, new judge and Pussycat Doll and new Ashley Roberts said she was "amazing tonight!" Robin said she showed "some of the strongest technical skating we have seen in week one" leaving Jason to his usual negative comments, telling her she was too robotic and he needed to see more performance.

Beth was the second celebrity voted through to the next round by the public after placing second on the judges scores behind Matt Lapinskas. Pamela Anderson was the first celebrity voted out after being beaten by Keith Chegwin in the "Save me Skate" which is new for 2013. 

Beth has thanked everyone for voting on her facebook page, stating she had an amazing time.
