It was all drama this semi-final week on Dancing on Ice as Gareth sensationally had to leave the competition due to illness. During training last week for the flying element of the show, it was clear Gareth wasn't coping very well with the motion sickness which effected all the celebrities on the show, so with less than hour to go before the show went live, it was unclear whether Gareth would be able to fly at all.

With us edging ever closer to the final, it was all to play for this week as the 4 remaining celebrities pulled out all the stops to impress the judges. Matt received the first 10's of the series for his performances, Gareth could only perform one skating routine, Jason caused controversy with Beth once again...lots going on!

Beth gave a very sexy and sassy performance to Jessie J's Domino to receive a score of 33.5  from the judges, but received harsh criticism from Jason who branded her "dead behind the eyes" much to the disgust of the crowd...and all of us in Beth Tweddle Gymnastics (formerly Total Gymnastics) towers! Jason has always been her biggest critic, in particular criticising her lack of performance ability in recent weeks. True to form, Beth came back fighting for her second performance and scored a huge 38 including her first 10 from Robin for her flying performance. Jason was left eating his words, praising her for her sensual performance and thanked her for giving a semi-final worthy performance.

With only the final to go on Sunday we will all be supporting Beth to win Dancing on Ice, so hopefully all our gymnasts and parents will be voting too!
